Agentic Marketplace (AMP)
Intelligent matching and exchange, guided by preferences, constraints, and value.
The Agentic Marketplace (AMP) is AGI’s patented technology for intelligent matching and exchange. It brings together preferences, constraints, value, and terms to support discovery, matching, negotiation, and transactions. Its approach is suited to markets where goods, services, or assets differ in meaningful ways and a simple price comparison cannot capture what participants need.
Connecting intent with opportunity.
Intelligent Matching
Evaluate potential matches against participant preferences, constraints, and transaction requirements.
Dynamic Price Discovery
Support price discovery for opportunities with different attributes, values, and terms.
Agent-to-Agent Commerce
Support agent participation in discovery, negotiation, and exchange within defined permissions.
Complex Exchange
Represent information, goods, services, and assets with characteristics that matter to each participant.
Real-Time Negotiation
Evaluate offers and conditions as participants work toward an acceptable agreement.
Defined transaction logic
Apply deterministic rules and auditable logic to the defined steps of an exchange.
Match non-homogeneous goods and services.
Products and services can differ in specifications, condition, location, availability, scope, and terms. AMP represents those differences alongside buyer and seller requirements, acceptable substitutes, preferences, and prices.
Match equipment, services, and terms in one transaction.
The buyer’s order
20 laptops with at least 16 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage, on-site setup by Monday, and three years of support. New or refurbished equipment is acceptable. Maximum all-in bid: $30,000. Among qualified packages, the buyer prefers lower total cost.
The sellers’ orders
Each seller specifies its equipment, service commitments, availability, and minimum ask. These non-homogeneous goods and services remain different; AMP uses deterministic matching to evaluate their compatibility with the buyer’s order.
Scroll horizontally to compare all three seller orders.
| Attribute | Seller A | Seller B | Seller C |
|---|---|---|---|
| Goods | 20 new laptops 16 GB / 512 GB | 20 refurbished laptops 32 GB / 1 TB | 20 refurbished laptops 32 GB / 1 TB |
| Setup service | On site by Monday | On site by Monday | On site by Monday |
| Support term | 3 years | 1 year | 3 years |
| Initial all-in ask | $28,000 | $22,000 | $31,000 |
| Initial match check | Qualified match | Excluded: support falls short | Near match: $1,000 above bid |
As orders change, the match changes.
Seller C lowers its ask to $27,000 while keeping the same equipment and service commitments. It now meets every requirement and becomes the preferred match under the buyer’s lower-cost preference. Seller B remains excluded: a lower price cannot override the three-year support requirement.
From matching to exchange. AMP evaluates active buyer and seller orders together, updating compatible matches as bids, asks, and availability change. A transaction can clear when qualified prices cross, subject to participant authorization and the market’s clearing rules.
Why deterministic? The same orders, market state, and matching rules produce the same eligibility and ranking. Results change when those inputs change. Final transaction pricing follows the configured market rules.
